Between the 13th and the 22nd of April, 5 pilot school teams from the Famagusta region worked with MASDER to learn about marine litter and become inspired so as to develop short animation videos on the subject. On Day 1 students participated in a beach cleanup between Bedi's Beach Bar and Venus Beach Hotel. Each group collected litter that they later used for the creation of videos to be transformed into animation videos. Day 2 was all about idea generation and scenario development, whereas Days 3 and 4 involved the actual animation video development. Special thanks goes out to EMU staff for guiding the students through the whole process. The videos will 'premiere' at the MarLitCy launch event that will take place on Saturday, 25 May 2019, at 4.30pm at MASDER, Famagusta. The curiosity and creativity of our teenagers boosts our hope for a better future. Comments are closed.
