AKTI Project and Research Centre, within the framework of the MarLitCy project, organised and implemented an interactive event for 4th year students at the Grammar School in Nicosia on the topics of marine litter and employment in the green/blue sectors. The event, which took place on the 21st March, 2016, involved 80 girls and 73 boys and their teachers.
Xenia I. Loizidou of AKTI Project and Research Centre presented MarLiCy as an innovative way to include women in the peacebuilding process. The presentation took place at an event organised by UNFICYP, Home for Cooperation and AKTI Project and Research Centre, on the occasion of the International Women's Day 2016, on 10 March 2016.
