Upcycled Art Competition

The MarLitCy Art Competition aims to engage students between the ages of 7 and 18 to think about the issue of marine litter and provide their own smart and different reactions to it. Students are called to create interesting and engaging art using ordinary, everyday waste and recycling, and especially items that typically make up marine litter.

Entries can be ephemeral (i.e. last for a short period of time and/or cannot be moved) or permanent, and entries from groups of students are allowed. The best art pieces will be included in an electronic report published by MarLitCy and exhibited at a large bi-communal event. For the full set of Rules and Conditions, as well as instructions on how to submit your work please refer to the documents below (available in English, Greek and Turkish).

Deadline for submissions extended to: 15 January 2017 at 24:00 hours, Cyprus local time.
