Xenia Loizidou of AKTI Project and Research Centre, a MarLitCy partner, spoke about the MarLitCy project, plastic waste and its impacts on the marine environment on CYBC yesterday, as part of the weekly broadcast 'Spiti Sti Fisi'. You can watch the video below (in Greek) As part of the project activities, a stakeholder perception survey was implemented across the island between the months of November 2014 and January 2015. The survey aimed to record the perceptions from key actors and project target groups regarding the issue of marine litter: where it can be found, what it is made of, which are its sources, what are the solutions and who is responsible for implementing them.
